FAQ

When should we book our portrait session?
The sooner the better. I can only accommodate a limited number of sessions per month, so please contact me as soon as you are ready to book and I will reserve a spot for you on my calendar.

When is the best time to photograph a Newborn?
When the baby is between 5 and 10 day old. At that time babies are very sleepy and not as sensitive to touch and sound. Sessions go much more smoothly and much wider variety of beautiful curled-up infant poses can be achieved to capture your portrait collection. As the babies pass the 10 day mark, they become more used to our environment, more sensitive and alert, and may become colicky, this makes them feel uncomfortable during the session which effects the outcome of the shoot.

What if I book a Newborn session and my baby comes early or late?
Unless you are having a scheduled c-section, that is expected. For that reason all my Newborn appointments are on tentative basis. We keep in touch for the latest updates. Once your baby arrives we can arrange a more suitable appointment for your newborn photography session. As long as your booking is complete and you are on my calendar, you are guaranteed a session.

When is the best time to have a maternity session?
The best time for a maternity photography session is between weeks 30 and 35 of your pregnancy. You will have a beautiful baby bump at this time and be still be comfortable to pose for the portraits.

Do you provide the props for the Newborn session?
Yes, you don't have to worry about anything. I provide everything we need for the session including all the cute little hats, headbands, tutus, blankets, wraps, and baskets.
